Magic Unfolding

i like this game a lot. while it admits to paying homage to other strange games, it holds itself up really well in the ocean of "tryhard weird", "juvenile weird" and straight up copycats. while it does lean towards juvenile with some crass humor, it has a lot more going for it. the artstyle is super sick! its very distinguished, competent, and fitting. i immediately liken it to the NES game Action52: Non-Human. gameplay is a nonfactor because its rpg maker. i really, really like the artstyle. you can tell that behind all the messiness and crude lines is someone with some serious skill. Azeluth if you're reading this, i'd love to know if you publish standalone art anywhere else, would be brilliant to see what else you can put out. Guz is adorable and it was a fun 3-hour journey that i'll definitely be revisiting
